Gina Haenish retired from IAG on June 30th following 11 years of dedicated service to Lori and Susan, and their clients. We miss her, but know we will see her at client events and hoping she pops in to see us once in a while. Congratulations Gina! We hope you are enjoying this chapter.
Scott Heins, his daughter, Grace, and a niece took a 6,639-mile camping trip to Redwoods National and State Park and Yellowstone National Park (among many other stops) in June.
Mike Kellen’s son Caleb and his baseball season finished with a Runner’s-Up in the Bronze bracket at the Ripken Experience in Tennessee, 1st place in their division for Elmbrook Little League) and 1st place at their tournament in Menomonee Falls.
Cheryl Tesch underwent full knee replacement surgery in June and has recovered nicely, although you still won’t see her running any marathons anytime soon. She’s just glad to be back to her normal fast paced work and home life. Slow was never her style.
Chris Mitchell and his family recently traveled to Sri Lanka, his wife Hashini’s home country. Prior to their trip, his children, Amaya and Spencer organized a Go Fund Me campaign to raise money for the students of the rural Mabopitiya Maha Vidyalaya school. Money raised would be used to purchase basic school supplies. With a goal of $2,000 they raised $2,050 just in time for their arrival in Sri Lanka. Each student was given a book bag with eight writing notebooks, two math notebooks, a math compass, a pack of pencils, pens, colored markers, colored pencils, etc. Well done Mitchell family!
Lori & Dick Watt crossed off an item that had been languishing on their bucket list for 45 years — a Mediterranean cruise. They hiked & climbed through ancient ruins despite 100-degree temperatures. They explored Rome, Athens, Corfu, the Amalfi coast, Santorini, Montenegro, and the beautiful city of Dubrovnik in Croatia (as shown in the picture).
