Michael has been serving clients since 1998 helping them make decisions about their wealth management needs. As a former Architect, Michael realized the design was not his, but rather his client’s. He was merely the instrument behind it. He has carried this philosophy into financial services helping families and business owners plan their financial futures. This includes the idea that a financial plan is not a product but rather a process that requires periodic pivoting and ongoing reviews. He looks forward to seeing each family realize the vision they have of their future and achieving the.

Mike loves working with the children and grandchildren of his clients. Money success starts with an early foundation of financial literacy that can affect young people their entire life. In 2008, he started volunteering his time to Make a Difference – Wisconsin, a non-profit organization educating high school students about savings and banking and understanding credit. Make a Difference is now operating as SecureFutures.

In 2016, he served as President of the FPA® of Wisconsin and the Board Chair in 2017. The Financial Planning Association® (FPA®) is the principal professional organization for CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals, educators, financial services providers, and students who seek advancement in this growing, dynamic profession.

Michael is a multi-year recipient of the FIVE STAR Wealth Manager award as seen in Milwaukee Magazine. The award is based on 10 objective criteria associated with providing quality services to clients such as credentials, experience, and assets under management among other factors. Wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list.

Mike and his wife, Sue, live in Brookfield. Their daughter, Kaelyn, is attending the University of Tennessee in Knoxville studying Economics with a minor in Music Business. Being empty nesters is allowing Mike and Susie to reconnect and define their future. Something many couples face at this time in their life. They are also enjoying hiking and playing with their Black Lab, Rey. Mike enjoys the outdoors and trying to stay in shape. He is also a club soccer coach for Elmbrook United. These activities involve family and friends as much as possible.
