As a financial advisor at IAG Wealth Partners, I’ve learned much through my relationships with clients; everything from growing mushrooms to beekeeping. My clients’ lives, careers, and interests have given me a distinct perspective of the impact sound financial planning has on peace of mind and quality of life.
My background includes growing up and starting my career in the dairy industry where I worked in sales, management, and consulting for a cooperative for thirteen years. I began my financial career working for a large insurance firm where I learned much about risk management and investment tools. After several years, I became aware that to serve my clients to my fullest abilities I needed to move away from the confines of the insurance company and become an independent advisor. This led me to IAG.
IAG was a natural fit for me. It is an organization driven by a solid set of core values founded in faith, honesty, and integrity that extend throughout its ownership, staff, and advisors, since 1985 when it was founded. My clients inspire me every day with their faith, charity, and love of family, friends, and their communities. I work hard to make meaningful recommendations that address client needs and expectations to help them pursue their dreams.
I live in Fort Atkinson with my wife Mary and our golden retriever. We have two wonderful sons that I enjoy hunting and fishing and just being with. I served as their basketball and baseball coach as they grew up. For many years, I served as treasurer of the Fort Atkinson Youth Boys Basketball Association and I am very active serving in my church and leading Financial Peace classes.
